What is СÖíÊÓÆµ Tech Advantage? 

СÖíÊÓÆµ Tech Advantage is a university-wide initiative to expand access, reduce financial barriers, and support student success.

It enhances resources that benefit all students – including experiential learning opportunities, career preparation, and basic needs support – while also providing scholarships for СÖíÊÓÆµ undergraduate students with financial need.

How should I explain СÖíÊÓÆµ Tech Advantage to students?

It’s a comprehensive approach to student success that combines financial support, academic resources, and hands-on learning opportunities. Students benefit from expanded access to internships, research, study abroad, and basic needs support, with additional scholarship assistance available for eligible СÖíÊÓÆµ undergraduates. The goal is that all students are fully supported in their success.

Do transfer students need to do anything differently to access СÖíÊÓÆµ Tech Advantage resources?

No. Transfer students follow the same application and financial aid steps as all applicants.

When are the key deadlines I should remind students about?

  • Oct. 1: FAFSA opens
  • Nov. 1: Early Action application deadline
  • Jan. 15: Regular Admission application deadline
  • Jan. 22: and completion for maximum scholarship and financial aid consideration
  • Feb. 15: Early Action decisions released
  • March 1: priority deadline for full consideration
  • May 1: National College Decision Day (commitment deadline)

Does СÖíÊÓÆµ Tech Advantage reduce tuition costs?

СÖíÊÓÆµ Tech Advantage does not change tuition rates. Instead, it focuses on reducing financial barriers through a combination of scholarships (for eligible students), expanded financial support, and increased access to resources that help students succeed.

Are out-of-state students eligible for support?
