Atlas Vernier, '23
Atlas graduated with dual degrees in French and Industrial & Systems Engineering. They are currently a graduate student studying human-centered system design and mission engineering, collaborating with researchers around the world and presenting their work to international audiences. Ultimately, Atlas aims to utilize their French language skills as an international leader in in-space and on-Earth technological capabilities鈥攆rom autonomous collaborative robotics to extended reality.
Jada Braxton, 鈥�23
Jada dreamed of sharing her love of music with the world while majoring in French and music performance. Encouraged by her French and music professors, she used their teachings to begin a new journey in Qu茅bec after graduation. Jada's passion for foreign language and music led her to pursue a masters in flute performance at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al. Jada enjoys the best of both worlds by studying at this French-language university in Canada.
Eric Thomas, '24
While studying International Relations and French, Eric was an active member in Mozaiko, the global living-learning community of Harper Hall. This experience gave Eric the opportunity to excel in cross-cultural communication and study abroad in France. Today, Eric leads the U.S. outreach and marketing for a French logistics technology company and resides in the same region of France he once studied in.

Experience the rich blend of French and West African cultures in Senegal. Join Le Cercle Francophone, our French club devoted to celebrating Francophone culture and recognizing students who excel in the language. The club meets weekly to help you strengthen your conversational skills through fun activities and interactions with native speakers. You can also get involved in Teach for Madame, a volunteer program that supports a French after鈥憇chool class for local children. It鈥檚 a great way to practice your French, build community, and share the language with others.
